Join our festival choir for an uplifting performance
All festival goers are invited to come and sing with our Festival Voices – an informal group of music lovers led by talented local choral director, composer and musician, Karen Wimhurst.
If you love to sing, you can add your voice to this choir from scratch – whatever your level of experience. Can’t read music? Don’t have perfect pitch? Find harmonies tricky? No need to worry. We want passion, not perfection.
Karen, who leads Shaftesbury’s a cappella Palida choir, will be guiding you through a short performance on the main stage on Saturday afternoon.
In preparation, there will be three rehearsals before the festival: Friday 5th June from 5.30 - 7pm, Monday 15th June from 7 – 8.30pm and Monday 22nd June from 7 - 8.30pm in St Leonard’s Church, Semley.
The performance will be at the festival late morning/early afternoon (time tbc) on Sunday 5th July
